RMA Theory Program, 2007 - 2008

Theory classes end on 14 December 2007. There are no theory classes during January. Classes resume again Semester 2, Friday, 8 February 2008.

Theory Placement

Classes begin on Friday, 14 September 2007.

Students must enter the new Blacksburg Middle School at the Community Entrance at the far left end of the building. Please do not enter in the Main Entrance.

Reminder: theory materials must be paid for in the first class on September 14. Parents please be sure to read the theory letter to see the cost for materials at the level in which your child is now placed. Also, please read the letter to be sure you bring appropriate supplies to the first class if needed.

Please do not bring food or drink into the classrooms. Water is allowed.

Recent News:

  • Interested in Summer Lessons? Contact the RMA office at 552-1383 or email us for more information. Summer lessons available from June 9 through September 5.
  • Fall Registration Deadline is July 1, 2008. Packets will be mailed early June to RMA students.
  • Claire Lo, piano student of Teresa Ehrlich, will graduate from high school May 2008. She plans to attend James Madison University as a Music Major in Piano, and has been awarded the Dingledine Scholarship. Six scholarships are offered each year (out of 300+ applications). Each one is equivalent to full in-state tuition for four years, and is JMU's biggest scholarship that they offer.
