Marci Craig portraitMartha Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Radford University, where she studied with a diverse group of teacher-composers: Bruce Mahin, Mark Camphouse, David Phillips, and Joseph Blaha. While at Radford she studied classical guitar with Robert Trent and piano with Nitza Kats. She also had private lessons with renowned American composer Donald Erb and Russian composer/guitarist Nikita Koshkin. After completing her BM Composition she returned earning a Music Education degree and obtaining a Collegiate Professional Teaching License Pre K-12. She has taught music through the public schools, grades K through 7th, including middle school choir. Mrs. Craig is also a licensed Kindermusik Educator and is dedicated to early childhood music education. She enjoys teaching young beginners, composing and performing as a free-lance harpist and guitarist. She joined Renaissance Music Academy in 2006, where she teaches Music Theory and Composition.
